Majorelle blue

We used to have a blue accent wall when we lived in Sausalito. It matched the water we could see out our large windows facing the houseboats. Then I saw an article in about Yves Saint Laurent’s home in Marrakesh. And that blue! Turns out it’s near impossible to find that paint color but some research did lead me this thread on Apartment Therapy which has some promising leads. I still intend to paint some part of my next home this color. Which brings me to the answer to the question of why WaterlilyPond.com is blue. Natasha and I were obsessed with this blue at the same time. There you go.
