Lauren Karnitz eco flowers

Every since I saw Lauren Karnitz’s eco flowers on Design Sponge I’ve been obsessed with her images, and now thinking in a new way about my plastic scrap in general. I’ve always found colored plastic to be disturbingly beautiful in a way as well. Now with my adoration for flowers (as evidenced in my mass of floral design clients) I’m looking at my recycling differently now and thinking, what weird flower, seaweed, plant form can I make with that? On Sunday I picked up some some craft supplies for my daughter at Michael’s and I felt really guilty about it so I saved some of the oddly shaped packaging just in case…Check out Lauren Karnitz’s website.
